Quick start

PokerClock runs entirely in your browser. Open the timer, check the settings and the blind structure, add your players, and press Start. Everything you enter is saved in this browser automatically, so you can reload the page or close it and continue later.

1. Settings

Open the settings with the gear button (or press S).

Buy-in and start stack
The cash each player pays to join, and the chips they get for it.
Re-buy and re-buy stack
The cash for buying back in, and the chips for it. Max. re-buys limits how often one player can re-buy; 0 turns re-buys off.
Add-on and add-on stack
The cash and chips for an add-on, usually offered once at the end of the re-buy period. 0 as maximum turns add-ons off.
Bounty
The cash paid for a bounty. Bounties are tracked separately and are not part of the prize pool. 0 turns them off.
Payouts
The share of the prize pool for each paid place, in percent. Add or remove places as you like; the total should be 100%.
Currency and sound
The currency symbol shown next to amounts, and whether the clock plays a sound at each level change and one minute before.

2. Blind structure

Open the blind structure with the list button (or press L). Each row is a level or a break with its length in minutes and the small blind, big blind and ante. Use the arrows to move rows and the bin to delete them. Add level suggests the next level by doubling the last one. Click a level number to jump to it while the clock is paused. If you want to start over, choose Default blind structure in the settings.

3. Players

Open the player list with the people button (or press P). Type the names, then press Buy-in when a player has paid. After that you can count re-buys and add-ons with the plus and minus buttons and tick the bounty. When the re-buy period is over, press Re-buys open to close it; the same works for add-ons.

When a player is knocked out, press Bust. They get the current finishing place, and once they are in the money their result (prize minus what they paid) is shown. Only the most recent bust can be undone, so places always stay in order.

4. Run the clock

Press Start to run the clock and Pause to stop it. When a level ends, the next one starts on its own. Use the arrow buttons to skip back or forward and the circle arrow to restart the current level while paused. The fullscreen button shows only the clock, which works well on a TV. The clock keeps the screen awake while it runs on devices that allow it.

Choose New game in the settings. It clears buy-ins, re-buys, add-ons and busts and goes back to the first level, but keeps your player names, settings and blind structure.
